MSMS Goes Purple on November 21st!

On Thursday, November 21st, Members of the National Junior Honor Society encourage Mount Sinai Middle School students and staff to wear purple in support of World Pancreatic Cancer Day and Project Purple.  


Since 2010, Project Purple has contributed over $3.5 million to pancreatic cancer research efforts while allocating $1 million worth of aid to 1,300+ patients and families through our patient aid programs.

 


Students may participate in Project Purple in a variety of ways:

1.  Purple shirts are available by visiting Mount Sinai Project Purple | B.I. Ink Inc | powered by OrderMyGear All proceeds will benefit Project Purple. 

    Orders will be distributed the week of November 18th.


2. Students can also show their support during the week by donating $2 and receive a special purple treat, available during lunch periods.

3.  Participate in a special “purple walk, which will be held during lunch periods on November 21st.  Any students wishing to recognize the day and honor those in the fight against pancreatic cancer may participate.
